XChat 2 8 7f + Patch (res2216)

I just obtained the first patch for XChat 2.8.7f. This is not from me, nor from the same people who cracked 2.8.7e. This one causes most antivirus products to go after the patch, and a few paranoid ones will actually call the XChat executable a trojan. Even while typing this, I have been analyzing the file and watching network traffic to see if there is any virus. It seems that both antivirus claims are false positives.

To apply the patch:

1. Check virustotal ( https://www.virustotal.com/analisis/14024fa4396134c0d1f793ceef4799cd79f1675fb81ab86660040a7677359a12-1254464380 ) to see if your antivirus will go off. If it is listed there as detecting something, be sure you know how to ignore a file (or pay for the official of you're really paranoid),

2. Install XChat with the included installer, or the one from xchat.org (they're the same),

3. Move the patch to the folder XChat installed to (C:program filesxchat by default),

4. Run the patch,

5. Start chatting!
